This project gives an opportunity to pre-service student teachers to conduct their practicum within the Southeast Asian Countries. The praticipants of the project must conduct observation, assistantship and demonstration teaching within a one month time frame. This is in line with one of the project"s main objective, which is to expose future teachers to diverse teaching and learning situations and opportunities and the value of flexibility. Throughout the entire practicum, the host universities will provide dedecated mentors, offering guidance and support to ensure a fruitful and rewarding experience for each student.

CHALLENGES OF PRACTICUM
During my one month stay in USL, the challenges that I’ve encountered is the language barrier. We had trouble communicating with other people due to the reason that sometimes suddenly switches to speaking Tagalog. Fortunately, we were blessed to have our student company because they helped us to communicate with others by translating the words for us and accommodating us all throughout our stay in Tuguegarao
OVERALL IMPRESSION
The SEA-Teacher project gave me the opportunity to see how the education system works in a neighboring ASEAN country. This provided me insights and fresh perspectives in terms of content and pedagogy that I may adapt in the classroom. Therefore, this project gave me the impression that it is meant to strengthen the skills and knowledge of the student teacher’s all over the ASEAN countries. Indeed, it is leading through learning. Moreover, the SEA-Teacher Project does not solely focuses on teaching, but also on how one should embrace culture and diversity.
